Yesterday, I was pulling an all-nighter for an important exam. I’ve heard that when you teach others, you help yourself learn the material better. I live by myself, so I set my two Pikachu dolls on the couch and gave them an hour long lecture. I got an A. MLIA

A rant....finally, right?

Ive come to realize that my life has never just been a cycle.  sure, there are constants and constants eventually change, but I have honestly never allowed my life to get into a constant and ever droning repetitive cycle of the same things over and over and over. I find that the second, or instant that I begin to drift into a state of constancy, I do something that makes me fall away from it, something random, something out of the ordinary, something real, alive and as always, spontaneous.  and tonight I was going to rant or basically just write and write till my fingers wore out but I ve just decided that I would rather try and remember all the things or a good portion of the ones that I have done in my past, on a whim, and full of emotion and joy for life.

The list begins now:)

-three AM woke up and packed my backpack with food, music and a few others household things and rode my bike to my friends house, I proceeded to wake him up, tapping on his window, get him out and on his bike, we rode to the overpass and climbed a billboard sign and sat there till dawn rose and awakened us from our chilly bones.  I was 15

-so many times Ive gone down to the beach to see the sunrise and each time, its beautiful in its own and different way and it constantly reminds me of all the individuals out there, different and beautiful in their own way and we are all seen from different perspectives.

-went to a movie I knew would be bad just to sleep in it

-went to a persons house with a couple friends.  I found he had drugs in his bathroom, and then proceeded to flush them down the toilet and leave a note in his bathroom:D

-talked on the phone for five hours once to comfort someone who really needed it

-drove to the keys one night from my house with a group and we stayed at the beach and walked around all day and then drove home the next night on a whim.

-(this one is a personal favorite of mine that I did) when I went to new york, we stayed in Brooklyn, after 130 am, I decided I wanted to go back into the city, so I got dresseed and put my bag on and I walked the brooklyn bridge and into the city and took night photos and bokehs and what not, it was like day, and I took a cab home almost two hours later, and then woke up another three after that to go back in.

-called someone in the phonebook randomly to wish them the best day of their lives.

-called someone in the phone book the same day to ask them if they had asked for a shipment of 5000 ballpoint pens by tomorrow:)

-got a group together for bowling under fifteen minutes and we stayed out for seven hours

-slept on my roof

-driven out late to go look at the stars

-late night escapades to the store for morning essentials (breakfast ;)

-paddled out to an island with a friend and we slept in sleeping bags by a fire we made and we danced around and told jokes and made up invention ideas and we talked about what we would do in two years, where we will be, if we will still talk, and how even if we didnt, we would remember the night we lived on an island

-jumped in a pool/ocean/river/lake/pond fully clothed because I didnt have swim suit and I wasnt going to miss out on the fun of jumping in with your clothes

-I was driving home from school one day and saw a man picking up his groceries that had toppled off his walker and i pulled aside and got out and helped him pick up the mess in a minute which would have taken him ten.  he asked my name and address and said this doesnt ever happen (people stopping to help) and a week later, a letter was in the mail from him, thanking me, and inside there were two tickets to the annual air show and a pass to fly in the front seat of a small fixed wing plane.  I later found out he was a reconaissance pilot in the last year of the cold war.

-so many other things.

do something colorful

I am going to go ahead and say you’re beautiful and I need you in my life.

The world needs more people like Cody. =]

Today, I was driving with my windows down and left arm extended out to feel the breeze. A car coming the other direction was making a left turn as I was coming through the stoplight towards them. Next thing I knew, the guy swerved uncomfortably close to me, extended his arm, and gave me a high five as we drove by. At first I was startled, then overcome with love for this boy. MLIA.

Awesome!!! i like that guy too!!

Today, my 5 year old daughter lectured me on my poor parental skills when I suggested that she watch Saturday morning cartoons she used words like “unhealthy, obese, smaller IQ, and uneducational.” I’ll take that Mother of the Year award now. FML

Last night, I was at a neon party. I had glow in the dark facepaint, and everybody wanted some. When a hot guy came up, I put some on my thumb, smudged it on his forehead and whispered ‘Simba’. He thought I was a total freak. His friend on the other hand declared me a legend and bought me drinks all night. I can deal with that. MLIA.

Today, I pulled in to a parking spot to pick my brother up from Karate. As I got out, I noticed a ticket guy checking the meters, and giving tickets to everyone. Once I had put a quarter in my own parking meter, I proceeded to drop a coin into every parking meter that the cop hadn’t gotten to yet, before he could get there. I felt like a superhero. MLIA

What a sweet person! (L)
